The funny thing about this week is this is the least organized for meals we have been in a long time. We decided to do this week for daily posts because Tom is on vacation so it would be easier. In theory this is true but it reality it hasn’t been. We’ll definitely do a series like this again in the future and even share the differences in our meals when Tom works and I’m at home.

Thursday

Breakfast

Omelette with spinach (CSA) and peppers and topped with feta cheese

This is Tom’s topped with hot sauce of course!

Lunch

Musclin mix and spinach salad (CSA) with boiled egg, avocado, radish (CSA) cucumber, and red pepper and a red wine vinegar dressing.

Dinner

BBQ chicken seasoned with line, rosemary, thyme, basil, garlic, onion and red wine. We served this with baked potatoes and a salad.

We had friends over for dinner tonight which was great. It’s always good to enjoy great food with awesome people. We had our cheats for the week with some yummy desserts and chips.

After dinner we had a campfire which is a great sign of summer. I love the smell of campfire! There is nothing better than waking up in the morning and smelling campfire or pulling out a sweater and having it smell of campfire. It was my favourite part of working at a camp.

Tomorrow is our last day of this weeks series. We hope you have enjoyed seeing what our family eats. Next week both us and Shaun and Michelle will be sharing why we eat grain free and what benefits we have seen to our families’ overall health.
